Office of Clinical Trials (OCT)
The mission of the Office of Clinical Trials (OCT) is to facilitate the conduct of quality clinical trials at NYU Langone Medical Center.
The OCT services the medical center with administrative services related to the testing in clinical trials of new pharmaceuticals and medical devices, including both industry-sponsored and investigator-initiated studies. We help prepare and negotiate budgets, negotiate contracts and engage in business development. We provide financial oversight and help administer the medical center's research billing compliance program.
We also assist investigators with infrastructure support, including Institutional Review Board and regulatory guidance. The OCT acts as a central information resource point for the conduct of industry sponsored clinical trials at NYU Langone Medical Center.
