NYU Langone has more than 400 researchers in various specialties and is the ideal place to conduct your clinical trial. Our investigators have extensive experience conducting successful clinical trials and are actively engaged in the research process. As a leading medical center, we have a diverse patient population that includes individuals who are eager to participate in clinical research.

Invoices from vendors must contain the following information: purchase order (PO) number (this starts with an “H” for the hospital, and an “M” for the School of Medicine), and name of employee who is responsible for the order.

Federalwide Assurance

The Federalwide Assurance (FWA) for NYU Langone has been updated and approved by the Office for Human Research Protections at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS). Under the FWA, we commit to the DHHS that we comply with the requirements set forth in 45 CFR Part 46 as well as with the terms of the FWA. The FWA number is important to note when submitting proposals for DHHS, foundation, and industry support.

The FWA number for NYU Grossman School of Medicine is 00004952.

The FWA number for NYU Long Island School of Medicine is 00000726.

The FWA number for the Sunset Park Health Council, Inc., doing business as Family Health Centers at NYU Langone, is 00002634.

Expiration dates may change regularly. For the most up-to-date expiration dates for each FWA, visit the Office for Human Research Protections Database for Registered IORGs and IRBs, Approved FWAs, and Documents Received in Last 60 Days. Select the ‘FWA’s tab and insert the FWA number above and press ‘search’. From the list, click the linked name of the FWA under the “Institution Name” row that corresponds to an ‘Active’ status under the ‘Status’ row. The expiration date will be listed at the top of the next page in a box with the location as well.

Fees for Commercially Sponsored Research

The Administrative Fee Schedule for all industry-sponsored projects has been updated and is effective December 1, 2020. Institutional Review Board (IRB) activities that incur fees for industry-sponsored research include new reviews, continuations, modifications, reportable events, and study closures. Clinical Research Support Unit (CRSU) activities include start-up management, amendments, annual financial management, and study reconciliation.
